This is a final reminder that the final Fosseway competition of 2023 closes on Saturday 21 October! Your challenge is to write a short story on the theme of “The Wreck”. What that wreck may be is entirely up to you.
Our judge is A.E. Warren, author the four-book series ‘Tomorrow’s Ancestors’ published by Del Ray. A terrific dystopian story encompassing pre-historic lives resurrected through biotechnology it has elements of Jurassic Park – but with Neanderthals and totalitarian elitism. Fundamentally though, it’s a series about belonging and finding out who you are.
